There IS Enough Time In Your Day To Achieve Your Goals!
It's all about them baby steps

A stubborn mind
For years I’ve been stubborn. Stubborn with the notion that we aren’t given enough time in the day to do everything we need to do. I have to work, I have to study, I have to eat, and, yes, I deserve some time to relax and wind down, too.
Where can I fit in going to the gym to exercise, or an hour a day to learn a new instrument, or schedule a night out with friends?
There’s just not enough time to do it all!
But the fact of the matter is — that’s wrong!
How much time is spent on your phone? Waking up, lying in bed for the first hour of your day, getting lost on TikTok or Instagram? I know I’ve been there.
How much time is spent “relaxing” after work? Frankly, at least for me, the answer was “too much”.
Playing video games for hours, and binging Downton Abbey for my entire evening, only to get into bed and scroll for another 2 hours and falling asleep at 1am isn’t considered time well spent.
This can change. But it takes baby steps.
How to find time
The fact of the matter is, there are people out there — right now, doing more than you in their day to achieve their goals. They have the same equipment as you do (think arms, legs, brain) and are utilizing them to achieve more than you are currently achieving with the same equipment.
That fact alone is proof that you can match or beat that imaginary someone. Or maybe put a face to this imaginary person. Maybe you look up to someone successful, whether they be famous, or someone in your life. Think about that person, and ask yourself:
Why am I CHOOSING to achieve less than him/her?
The answer to this question is that you can change your choices.
So let’s use exercise as an example. Would it be possible to wake up an hour earlier in the morning a few times a week to go for a walk / jog? The answer is yes. Would it be possible to lessen your TikTok scrolling time, and use that time to go to the gym? The answer is yes.
Let’s face it, the hour you are investing into achieving your goals is a wasted hour otherwise. We both know you’re in bed in the morning, awake, scrolling through social media — for no benefit.
Instead, take that time and use it to achieve something you find important.
There is no time to waste.
Today — or tomorrow morning, you WILL take the first step to achieve your goals.
You can do it!
One baby step at a time.
